One of my marketing executives proposed for our company to start giving away promotional gifts this coming Holiday season. At first, I rejected his idea, because I doubted that his project proposal will not work out as he hoped to be. However, I changed my mind, because we do not have enough budget for the marketing campaign that I approved from last meeting. I do not think, my company could afford another television commercial for the Holiday season. I thought it would best to show our appreciation to our loyal customers by giving them promotional gifts. I already understood where my marketing executive was coming from. It is a win-win situation to give away promotional gifts, because we can good public relation points from our customers if we give away presents and at the same time, branding our presents with our company logo will help customers remember our company every time. It is a genius way to advertise without spending a lot of money.
