Need Some Info on Updating My Passport

I am after some advice and info on changing my existing passport. I have not had to renew for a long time so I am a bit out of touch with it all. I am trying to find out if I have to give my passport current address on the forms because I know this is something that does not get printed on the passport. I have picked up the forms I need to do this but I am having trouble filling them all out, I am trying to make sure I do not miss anything out. I have got my photos done and everything but just need to make sure the rest of the form is filled out correctly. I need this for a trip I am taking in a few months so I have got time to sort it all out before hand. I have spoke to the advise line for a bit of help with it and to be fair they have been pretty helpful but I could have done with someone there to guide me through the form and make sure I fill everything in properly.
